Meet Enzo!

This sweet 6 year old mixed breed boy is 27 pounds of pure best friend material. Enzo is an incredibly affectionate, gentle boy who loves his people with his whole heart. Once he bonds with you, he bonds deeply. He is incredibly loyal and truly just wants to know that his people are his forever.

Enzos favorite thing in the world is giving hugs. Hell happily put his front legs over your shoulders and soak up every bit of affection youre willing to give him. He loves being close, cuddling on the couch, going for walks and hikes, playing fetch, and even enjoys bath time — especially the post-bath snuggles!

Because Enzo becomes so attached to his people, he can sometimes feel a little protective of them. New people coming into the home can make him unsure, and he may bark or be wary until he realizes theyre safe. He isnt a dog who needs a busy, constantly changing environment. What Enzo really needs is a patient, understanding family who will give him time to decompress, build his confidence, and learn that he is safe and that his people arent going anywhere.

We think Enzo would thrive in a quieter, predictable home where his family is around a decent amount and there arent constantly new visitors coming and going. A home without children would be best so he can have the calm environment and consistency he needs while adjusting. Once Enzo feels secure, you get to see what an incredibly loving, devoted little guy he truly is.

Enzo does great with other dogs and is also fine with cats. He is house trained, crate trained, and has a wonderful foundation already — he simply needs the right home that understands he may need a little extra time and reassurance in the beginning.

Enzo is neutered, up to date on vaccinations, and will have his health certificate prior to adoption.
