Meet Tulip!

An adorable 5 year old, 9 lb Chihuahua/Terrier mix, possibly with a little Yorkie mixed in there too! Whatever her mix may be, one thing is certain: those adorable ears and sweet little face are pretty hard to resist.

Tulip can be a little shy when she first meets someone, but it doesnt take her long to realize shes safe. Give her a little patience and kindness, and youll quickly see her sweet personality start to shine. Once Tulip decides youre her person, she loves with her whole heart. She becomes incredibly affectionate and wants to be close to you, follow you around, and soak up all the love she may have missed out on before.

Shes also a wonderfully chill and easygoing little girl. Tulip isnt bouncing off the walls or demanding attention every second of the day. Shes perfectly content doing her own thing, relaxing around the house, or finding a warm sunny spot for one of her favorite activities — sunbathing! She does amazing with other dogs in her foster home and fits right in with the pack.

Tulip sleeps nicely in a crate at night, although were pretty sure shed happily trade it for a spot in bed next to her person! Shes also doing really well in the house and goes potty outside for the most part. Shell either use the doggy door herself or head outside with the other dogs when her foster mom lets everyone out.

Overall, Tulip is just a really good, easy little dog. Shes sweet, affectionate, dog-friendly, and independent enough to entertain herself while still wanting that special bond with her person. She may need a minute to get to know you, but once she does, youll have one incredibly loyal little best friend who wants to love you unconditionally.

Tulip is spayed, up to date on vaccines, and will have her health certificate prior to adoption. Now all this sweet girl needs is someone to choose her and give her the forever home shes been waiting for.
