Meet Bennie!

With his adorable oversized ears, short little legs, and heart melting personality, Bennie is guaranteed to steal your heart! This handsome almost 2 year old Chihuahua mix (possibly a Chiweenie) weighs about 10 pounds and is looking for the forever family hes been waiting for.

Bennie is the perfect combination of playful, affectionate, and loyal. When he first meets new people, he can be just a little shy, but it doesnt take him long to realize hes safe. Once he does, he forms a deep bond with his person and quickly becomes your little shadow. His favorite place in the world is curled up in your lap, snuggled under a warm blanket, soaking up all the love he can get. He would really love a family that is home a lot!

This sweet little guy has an excellent balance of energy and cuddles. He loves to play, but when playtime is over, hes more than happy to curl up beside you for a cozy nap. Bennies absolute favorite game is fetch. Toss one of his favorite little balls, and hell happily play for as long as youll let him! Hes also incredibly food motivated and never says no to a tasty treat, making him a fun and eager dog to continue training with.

He gets along wonderfully with other dogs, both big and small. While hed certainly enjoy having a playful canine companion, he would also be perfectly happy as your one and only dog, soaking up all of your attention.

Bennie is already house trained, crate trained, and has wonderful manners around the house. He sleeps quietly in his crate every night without making a peep and does an excellent job going potty outside during the day. He also walks very nicely on a leash and enjoys getting out to explore with his people.

One important thing to know about Bennie is that hes a bit of a little escape artist! Because of this, hell need a family committed to keeping him safe. He should never be left unattended in a yard unless its extremely secure, and leash walks or supervised outdoor time are the safest option. Thankfully, since he walks so well on a leash, its easy to include him on all of lifes adventures.

Bennie is truly one of those dogs who brings happiness wherever he goes. Hes sweet, loving, goofy, and full of personality. Whether youre looking for a cuddle buddy, a walking partner, or a best friend to brighten your days, Bennie is ready for the job.
