Bear is an absolutely darling 7 year old Shorkie mix weighing about 25 pounds. This handsome guy is truly a gem of a dog with a wonderful temperament and so much love to give.

Bear is a people lover through and through. He is incredibly friendly with everyone he meets and absolutely loves being around his humans. Hes the kind of dog who will happily become your little sidekick—whether youre heading out for a walk, relaxing at home, or just going about your day. He simply enjoys being included and spending time with the people he loves.

He does really well with other dogs, although he mostly seems to just mind his own business around them. He doesnt need to be the center of the canine social scene and would be perfectly happy sharing his home with other pups. He also ignores cats, making him a great candidate for many different types of homes.

Bear is already potty trained and walks nicely on a leash, so he comes with some pretty great grown-up manners! Hes an easy boy to have around and would make such a wonderful companion for someone looking for a dog who can settle right into family life.

One important thing to know about Bear is that he has dry eye, which requires eye drops twice a day. This will be a lifelong need, but thankfully his drops are available over the counter and are simple to give. Its just a small part of his daily routine to keep those sweet eyes comfortable.

There really isnt much not to love about this guy. Bear is friendly, well-mannered, affectionate, and just an all-around GOOD dog. At seven years old, he still has so much life and love ahead of him, and we know hes going to make someone an incredibly loyal companion.

Bear is neutered, up to date on his vaccinations, and will come with his health certificate prior to adoption.
Now this darling boy just needs a forever family to call his own. Whoever gets to bring Bear home is going to be very lucky indeed!
