Maverick*
Meet Maverick, the cutest, snuggliest one-year-old Chihuahua mix you'll ever meet! He weighs twenty pounds, and he's excited, curious, and full of energy. He loves to play nonstop and wants to be around his people all the time.
Maverick is always interested in meeting new people, especially when they let him approach at his own pace, and he greets every guest who comes over. He always wants to play with other dogs and spends his days wrestling with his foster brother and saying hi to the dogs at the park. He settles in quickly when left alone and always ends the day with a long nap.
He knows sit and is working on potty training, crate training, and leash skills. Treats and repetition help him learn, and since he's small, he's easy to manage on walks. His favorite toys are anything that crinkles or squeaks!
Maverick would do best in an active home with someone who can take him out and play with him often. He'd do well as an only dog or with a canine sibling, and he's a great fit for apartment living.
