Doffue - Toy Fox Terrier Dog for Adoption

Doffue (aka "Duffy")

Meet Duffy, an affectionate, cuddly, and happy one-year-old Toy Fox Terrier mix who weighs fifteen pounds and loves nothing more than a good nap! With her floppy ears, puppy eyes, and cute white terrier whiskers, she has a perpetual puppy look. Her coat is super soft, and she loves being petted while curled up next to you.

Duffy is great with kids right from the start. She's a little shy with adults at first but opens up quickly in a calm environment. She's good with other small dogs, though she's timid with big ones. She's potty trained and lets you know when she needs to go out by sniffing around or waiting by the door. She's comfortable on a leash, getting better every day, and is learning sit and stay fast thanks to her love of treats, especially tiny pieces of cheese!

She's low to moderate energy, with short bursts of play in the morning and evening. She loves her squeaky stuffed toy, and she's just as happy lounging all day with a fuzzy blanket. She sleeps soundly through the night.

Duffy would do best in a calm to moderate home with someone who has lots of affection to give and a relaxed lifestyle. She's a great fit for apartment living.

What her foster says about her:
"She has that perpetual puppy look with the floppy ears, puppy eyes, and her small size. Overall she is super sweet and loving and happy."
