Meet Charlie, a sweet, curious, and friendly ten-year-old Maltese/Shih Tzu mix who weighs just six pounds! He loves people and is happiest when he’s around his humans. He’ll just plop down right next to you and soak up all the attention.

Charlie is very low energy, and his favorite things are napping, eating, and curling up on the couch. He doesn’t have any teeth, so he eats soft and wet food, and his little tongue is always sticking out, which is too cute! He’s not into toys and prefers cuddles instead.

He’s good with people and is fine sniffing other dogs on walks, and slow introductions help him feel comfortable. He’s 100% potty trained when taken out every five hours and does his business right away. He’s a little wobbly on his feet, so he only needs short, easy walks.

Charlie would do best in a calm, slow-paced home with little foot traffic and an adopter who understands senior dogs and their quirky needs. With his tiny size and quiet nature, he’s a great fit for apartment living.
