Meet Bruce, a playful, happy, loving, and snack-motivated ten-year-old Maltese who weighs about ten pounds! He’s a little bundle of joy who’s still playful and full of love. He loves being right by your side, but he’s also happy to rest on the couch or bed on his own.
Bruce can be cautious with new people and situations at first, but he warms up and becomes very affectionate. He’s friendly with other dogs. He’s house trained, happy to rest and sleep in his crate, and good on a leash. He knows sit, and since he’s very food motivated, treats make training a breeze.
His ideal day is a relaxed mix of a stroll around the city, lots of couch time snuggled next to you, and naps in his crate. Mealtimes and snacks are the highlights of his day! He loves lounging on his belly for belly rubs and lets out happy little grunts while you give them.
Bruce would do best in a calm to moderate home with someone looking for an affectionate, easygoing companion for leisurely walks and lazy couch afternoons. He’s a great fit for apartment living.
