Smalls (aka "Miss Muffet")
Meet Smalls, an adorable, sassy, and funny senior girl who weighs seven pounds and is around twelve years old, though she acts like she's five! Her ears are permanently stuck up in the air like airplane wings, and her little tongue is always sticking out. She's unbelievably cute and charming.
Smalls is very people-oriented and loves visitors. She's brave and adapts quickly to new situations as long as her person is nearby. After her morning walk, she wants nothing more than to sit in your lap all day. She's very food motivated, loves watching you cook, and will chase a stuffed toy now and then. Halfway through a short walk, she's usually ready to be picked up and carried.
With other dogs, she may grumble at first but then snuggles up and mostly ignores them. She knows to go potty outside but is still working on house training, and she settles nicely in a playpen.
Smalls would do best in a moderate home with a patient adopter who's home a lot, has experience with older dogs, and can give her a steady routine. She's a great fit for apartment living.
