Dena (aka "Bug")
Meet Dena, a loving, social, playful, and easygoing four-month-old terrier mix who weighs twenty pounds! She makes friends with every person and dog she meets and shows her love with lots and lots of face kisses. She'll try to sit in your lap even though she's already too big to be a lap dog!
Dena loves everyone, and she's been great with the kids she's met, including a two-year-old. She also loves playing with other dogs at the dog park. She's potty trained and crate trained, easygoing on the leash, and learning sit. She's food motivated and loves praise, and as a puppy she's still learning not to jump and what's okay to chew. She loves stealing shoes!
She's a silly, awkward girl who dips her whole snout in the water bowl, sniffs dogs' faces instead of their butts, and has never heard of personal space. She loves to chew, play tug-of-war, and run around with her dog friends, and she'll want to sleep in your bed and go everywhere you go.
Dena would do best in a moderate, active home, ideally with other dogs or someone who works from home, so she's not alone too much. She's expected to grow to about forty pounds, so be ready for a bigger girl!
