This sweet 5 year old 18 pound boy was found as a stray and impounded at a local shelter before coming to Pug Nation. We don't know where he came from, how long he was on his own, or what life looked like before someone finally brought him to safety. What we do know is that Jupiter's ready for a future that feels a lot better than his past!
In a big group of dogs, Jupiter tends to hang to the sidelines and take everything in. He likes other dogs and gets along well with them, but he's not interested in joining a canine wrestling league. His best buddies are mellow dogs who respect personal space, appreciate a good nap, and are willing to bunch up for a cuddle sesh.
New places and unfamiliar situations can make Jupiter a little nervous, so he won't necessarily march through your front door and start rearranging the furniture. He needs a minute. Let him decompress, give him some space, and show him that nothing bad is about to happen. Once he realizes he's safe, you'll meet the dog underneath the caution. And that dog is pure sweetness.
Jupiter wants to be close to his people. He wants affection, company, and the comfort of knowing he finally belongs somewhere. He's the kind of dog who'd go to a party, find one person he trusts, and sit beside them for the rest of the night. He doesn't need the whole room. He just needs his person.
If you've got a calm home and room beside you for a tenderhearted guy who's ready to feel safe and be your best friend for life, Jupiter would love to enter your orbit. Please inquire today!
