This 5-year-old, 16-pound boy was roaming the streets as a stray before he happened upon a retirement community and let himself in. The kind people there searched for his owners, but no one ever came forward. So, Tickles made his way to Pug Nation, where he is now ready to leave street life behind and complete the retirement plan he so carefully selected for himself.
It is surprisingly fitting that Tickles chose a senior community, because this little guy has an old soul. He seems to know exactly what he wants from life: a comfortable place to curl up, someone nearby to love him, leisurely walks, and many, many belly rubs.
The original plan may not have worked out exactly as intended, but Tickles remains optimistic. He thrives on human attention and will happily settle in beside you for affection, companionship, and whatever activity you have planned. He is more low-key than wild, but he still enjoys playtime and getting out for a nice stroll. He is equally happy spending time with his canine buddies and gets along wonderfully with the dogs and people he meets.
Tickles is the kind of dog who doesn't need to be the center of a nonstop party. He just wants to be included, adored, and granted regular access to your lap and hands. Preferably both hands. Belly rubs are serious work afterall.
He is gentle, social, easygoing, and an absolute sweetheart. If your home offers soft places to nap, pleasant walks, good company, and a generous belly-rub pension, Tickles is ready! Please inquire today!
