-This sweet girl came out with a BIG personality! She was twirling, bouncing, and trying her best to get all the attention she could. Once we got into the yard, she settled down significantly and happily wandered around taking in all the sights and smells. She'd regularly come back to check in for some pets before heading off to explore again.

-And then she discovered the treat pouch! 😂 She was very interested in what was inside and even did a little digging for snacks, but when one was offered, she took it politely and went right back to exploring. She already knows how to sit and wait nicely, too!

-Inside, her curious puppy brain kicked back into high gear as she investigated everything around her. There was plenty of happy jumping and excitement, but she was also able to settle down and enjoy some pets and belly rubs once she got her wiggles out.

-She showed some interest in toys, and I have a feeling there's a playful little girl in there who will really blossom once she's comfortable in a home. She's curious, affectionate, food motivated, and full of that adorable puppy zest for life.
-Will need some puppy training. Please keep that in mind if you want a puppy. They require time and patience to be the best that they can be!

-Seems non reactive to dogs nearby and may do well living with a fur sibling after slow and proper intros

*Please keep in mind that the shelter can be a very stressful environment.

*Studies show that a minimum of 3 days decompression drastically lower stress hormones and allow the dog to show more personality after they have settled in.

*There is a suggested donation of $100 for our dogs, payable by cash, check or through paypal at the time of the adoption.

*To meet them please go to front door and a DACC staff member will assist you with adoption or fostering.

**And when coming to meet one of our dogs, please bring all the humans with you, but leave any current dogs at home. Staff will go over how to slowly and properly introduce them after a decompression period.**

*The shelter is open 7 days a week from 10:30-5:30, except for Wednesday when we open at 11:30

**We ask that if you're looking to adopt, you arrive before 5:00 to be able to have enough time to meet the dog.
