Sasha A187120
88 lb. spayed female, approx 5 years old
Big, beautiful gal with the sweetest little nubby tail! 💕
-This gorgeous girl has come such a long way. She came in fearful, but today when I approached, she greeted me with the cutest little tail wiggles! She leashed easily and came out nicely, then walked beautifully on leash with little to no pulling.
-Outside, she took some time to explore and check things out before eventually deciding that sitting quietly near my feet was the perfect place to be. She has lovely manners, isn't jumpy, and is an easygoing companion.
-She's treat motivated, knows how to sit, and takes treats decently. She can even catch them! She briefly played with a stuffie, although she quickly decided exploring and hanging out were more her speed.
-She's friendly and affectionate without being needy. She has a nice independent streak and seems perfectly content doing her own thing before coming over to check in. A beautiful girl with a gentle, easygoing personality who would make a wonderful companion.
-Seems non reactive to dogs nearby and may do well living with a fur sibling after slow and proper intros

*Meet all of our adoptable pets on our website friendsofdacc.org/adopt
*Please keep in mind that the shelter can be a very stressful environment.
*Studies show that a minimum of 3 days decompression drastically lower stress hormones and allow the dog to show more personality after they have settled in.
*There is a suggested donation of $100 for our dogs, payable by cash, check or through paypal at the time of the adoption.
*To meet them please go to front door and a DACC staff member will assist you with adoption or fostering.
**And when coming to meet one of our dogs, please bring all the humans with you, but leave any current dogs at home. Staff will go over how to slowly and properly introduce them after a decompression period.**
*The shelter is open 7 days a week from 10:30-5:30, except for Wednesday when we open at 11:30
**We ask that if you're looking to adopt, you arrive before 5:00 to be able to have enough time to meet the dog.
