Binky Cow A186711
23 lb. spayed female, approx 6 months old
-She can start of nervous with new people or new situations. While walking on leash she was sticking close and constantly looking up at me for reassurance.
-Once inside where it was quieter, she started to show a little bit of a more playful side. You can tell she wants to bust out into zoomies but was still holding back. She's not all the way there yet, but she was receptive to me play bowing and pawing towards her. She'll be playful once comfortable!
-She ultimately just wanted to snuggle in my lap and give kisses for now
-She is treat motivated, sits and takes them nicely
-Toys seem to scare her a little bit and she has no idea what she is supposed to be doing with them. She also did not like my squeaker.
-She is just a timid baby who needs a little bit of time and patience to fully come around
-Will need some puppy training. Please keep that in mind if you want a puppy. They require time and patience to be the best that they can be!
-Seems non reactive to dogs nearby and may do well living with a fur sibling after slow and proper intros
Unknown behavior with dogs/cats/kids
*Meet all of our adoptable pets on our website friendsofdacc.org/adopt
*Please keep in mind that the shelter can be a very stressful environment.
*Studies show that a minimum of 3 days decompression drastically lower stress hormones and allow the dog to show more personality after they have settled in.
*There is a suggested donation of $100 for our dogs, payable by cash, check or through paypal at the time of the adoption.
*To meet them please go to front door and a DACC staff member will assist you with adoption or fostering.
**And when coming to meet one of our dogs, please bring all the humans with you, but leave any current dogs at home. Staff will go over how to slowly and properly introduce them after a decompression period.**
