Go-Go A186619
52 lb. spayed female, approx 3 years old
-Her name is somewhat fitting! I leashed her and she
wanted to run all the way till we got outside. "Let's go...go...go" is what I imagined her saying as we were running! 😂
-She explored the yard briefly before jumping in my lap for pets. She definitely can turn the "go" part off and settles in nicely!
-She gives lots of kisses
-She is curious and pays attention to what's around her, perking her little ears up and listening intently and adorably!
-She's food motivated, sits and takes them gently
-She didn't show any interest in playing with toys
-She walked at much better pace on the way back with a harness. I think hers was just super excited to be going outside initially. She's a good girl!
-Seems non reactive to dogs nearby and may do well living with a fur sibling after slow and proper intros
Unknown behavior with dogs/cats/kids
*Meet all of our adoptable pets on our website friendsofdacc.org/adopt
*Please keep in mind that the shelter can be a very stressful environment.
*Studies show that a minimum of 3 days decompression drastically lower stress hormones and allow the dog to show more personality after they have settled in.
*There is a suggested donation of $100 for our dogs, payable by cash, check or through paypal at the time of the adoption.
*To meet them please go to front door and a DACC staff member will assist you with adoption or fostering.
**And when coming to meet one of our dogs, please bring all the humans with you, but leave any current dogs at home. Staff will go over how to slowly and properly introduce them after a decompression period.**
*The shelter is open 7 days a week from 10:30-5:30
