Yo Diggity A186982
71 lb. neutered male, approx 3 years old
-Big, blockhead boy with a sweet and easygoing personality! He walked nicely through the halls and was happy to head outside, where his enthusiasm picked up a bit and he did better with a harness wrap to help him along. Once settled, he was content to calmly hang out at my feet and soak up some affection without being overly demanding. Every now and then, he'd pop up for a lap visit and share a few sweet kisses! 🥰
-He enjoys treats, knows how to sit, and takes his snacks very nicely. Toys aren't really his thing at the moment--he seems much more interested in good company and a little attention. He also appears to be a potty holder, though like any dog, he may need a little time to adjust to a new home and routine.
-This handsome guy is a calm, affectionate boy who would love a family to call his own!
-Seems non reactive to dogs nearby and may do well living with a fur sibling after slow and proper intros
Unknown behavior with dogs/cats/kids
*Meet all of our adoptable pets on our website friendsofdacc.org/adopt
*Please keep in mind that the shelter can be a very stressful environment.
*Studies show that a minimum of 3 days decompression drastically lower stress hormones and allow the dog to show more personality after they have settled in.
*There is a suggested donation of $100 for our dogs, payable by cash, check or through paypal at the time of the adoption.
*To meet them please go to front door and a DACC staff member will assist you with adoption or fostering.
**And when coming to meet one of our dogs, please bring all the humans with you, but leave any current dogs at home. Staff will go over how to slowly and properly introduce them after a decompression period.**
*The shelter is open 7 days a week from 10:30-5:30
