DESCRIPTION

Moses A187349
48 lb. neutered male, approx 3 years old

-Just a big, lovable derp! This sweet boy has a laid-back personality and likes to mosey along on his walks, strolling nicely on leash and taking in all the sights and smells. He could benefit from a little extra activity to help him feel his best, but he's currently embracing the lazy boy lifestyle!

-Outside, he was happy doing his own thing, but once we got inside, his affectionate side really came out. He loves pets and will lean his entire body into you for cuddles and rubs! He's also a kiss giver and will happily jump up for hugs when you're sitting in a chair.

-He's a big fan of treats--maybe even a little treat piggy--and takes them nicely. If you get him excited, he may show off his enthusiasm with a jump or two, but otherwise he's content keeping all four paws on the ground. He even played a little tug before returning to his preferred activity: soaking up all the love and attention!

-A little goofy, a little lazy, and a whole lot lovable, this big derp is ready to mosey right into someone's heart!

-Seems non reactive to dogs nearby and may do well living with a fur sibling after slow and proper intros

Unknown behavior with dogs/cats/kids

*Meet all of our adoptable pets on our website friendsofdacc.org/adopt

*Please keep in mind that the shelter can be a very stressful environment.

*Studies show that a minimum of 3 days decompression drastically lower stress hormones and allow the dog to show more personality after they have settled in.

*There is a suggested donation of $100 for our dogs, payable by cash, check or through paypal at the time of the adoption.

*To meet them please go to front door and a DACC staff member will assist you with adoption or fostering.

**And when coming to meet one of our dogs, please bring all the humans with you, but leave any current dogs at home. Staff will go over how to slowly and properly introduce them after a decompression period.**

*The shelter is open 7 days a week from 10:30-5:30, except for Wednesday when we open at 11:30

**We ask that if you're looking to adopt, you arrive before 5:00 to be able to have enough time to meet the dog.
