Meet Balducci — The Little Gentleman With a Big Heart

Balducci just had his spa day, and the one postgroom photo we have says it all — he looks incredible. Talk about a makeover!

Balducci is a 2 year old Maltese mix, just 9 pounds, and adored by his foster, who calls him nothing short of perfect. He’s sweet, social, affectionate, and happiest when he’s part of the action — especially if another friendly dog is involved.

Balducci is the kind of pup who brings light into a home. He’s gentle, easy to love, and wonderfully people-oriented. He’s housebroken, crate-trained, and has a calm, contented way about him that makes him feel like a tiny old soul wrapped in a fluffy, lovable package.

But what truly makes Balducci shine?
He absolutely needs a playful dog buddy in his forever home. He thrives with canine companionship — following them around, engaging in gentle play, sharing toys, and simply being part of a little dog duo. He’s happiest when he has a friend to bond with, and it’s a non-negotiable for his future.

His favorite place, though, will always be your arms. Balducci loves being carried and resting his head on your shoulder like he was born to be someone’s cherished companion. He’s a snuggler, a shadow, and a tiny gentleman who just wants to belong.

Ideal Home
Balducci will flourish with a family who:

Has another friendly, playful dog

Enjoys companionship and gentle affection

Offers structure, kindness, and a safe environment

OK with children 6 yrs and up, due to his petite size

A fenced in yard is preferred so he can explore safely, but his true joy comes from connection — with people and with his dog buddy.

Why You’ll Love Him
Balducci is tender, social, and endlessly endearing. He’s the perfect blend of mellow sweetness and lighthearted play, and his small size makes him an effortless companion. He’s the kind of dog who makes a home feel warmer just by being in it.

Understanding transport: Once everything is all approved, dogs are scheduled on transport using AJC Rescue & Transport (https://www.facebook.com/profile.php?id=100083418067425). Transport means dogs are carefully and thoughtfully moved via scheduled air conditioned/heated vans from our doggy ranch in Fulshear, TX to a location near you. Each transport consists of a team of two drivers who can alternate. This is how we communicate in real time. The driver who is not driving, will be updating the group chat. You will be included in this group chat to track your dog through transport. You will also be given exact location and scheduled time of arrival. Our drivers do everything possible to run on time however, things such as traffic, weather etc. can affect arrival time. You will be updated regarding delays or possible early arrival. Keep in mind, dogs on transport stop for bathroom, walk and food breaks. For safety, all dogs are crated during transport.

We use what we think is the best dog transport service in the region and have for years - Andrea and her crew really offer first class transport!

The Maltese is a small toy breed known for its glamorous white coat, which is long, silky, and virtually hypoallergenic. They are gentle, affectionate companion dogs that thrive on human companionship and make wonderful family pets. Maltese dogs are playful, intelligent, and alert, with a confident demeanor despite their small size. They require regular grooming to maintain their luxurious coat and are suitable for apartment living due to their size and adaptability.
