India is a 3-year-old, 90-pound Great Pyrenees mix with a beautiful face and absolutely no ambition. She does not want to climb a mountain, explore the world or boldly go where no dog has gone before. She suspects there was a perfectly good reason nobody went there.
India arrived with a friend six months ago, very timid and in rough condition. Today she looks amazing and is healthy and well. She is still on the shy side, but underneath that reserve is a very sweet dog who wants a quiet place to belong and people who will tell her how good she is. A few toys, something appropriate to chew on and some sweet words would go a long way toward fulfilling her entire wish list.
This is a homebody. She would appreciate a fenced yard for leisurely ambling and a world in which 72 degrees is the standard. If your weekend plans involve staying home and accomplishing very little, India would like to discuss a permanent arrangement.
She is great with dogs and cats and is fine with respectful children. Her preference is for people past their screeching years, regardless of their actual age. She needs a quiet home with patient people who will give her time to settle in without making becoming more outgoing a group project. India has come a long way. Now she would like to stay put, be loved and have very little on her calendar.
