Morpheus is an 18-month-old, 70-pound Great Pyrenees mix with a beautiful face, lovely manners and a firm belief that being your only pet is a sign that you have impeccable taste and discernment. To be clear, he adores people of all ages. Come over. Sit down. Tell him about your day. Bring whatever you’re eating. Morpheus thinks human companionship is the entire point of being a dog, and he is prepared to devote himself fully to the position.

Morpheus has no love for (in order of disdain): Chickens, dogs, cats and the documentaries of Nathan Fielder. Morpheus needs to be the only pet in his home, with no poultry on the premises. He has reviewed the possibility of animal roommates and declined. Note that this restriction is a placement requirement, not an invitation to introduce him to your unusually persuasive cat or dog. We've given up trying to make Fetch happen.

With that settled, there is so much to love here. He is well mannered in the house, walks nicely on a leash and rides beautifully in the car. He needs a fenced yard, a sunny patch for his afternoon observations and a household where snacks are understood to be a recurring expense. Mostly, he wants to be wherever his people are. Your ordinary Tuesday is his idea of a very good time.

For someone who wants one dog and a whole lot of devotion, Morpheus has an excellent résumé. He is young, handsome, affectionate and already knows how to behave in your living room. He just wants everyone with feathers or four feet to get their own living room.
