Justice - Norwegian Elkhound and Great Pyrenees Dog for Adoption in Nashville, Tennessee

Justice is an 11-month-old Elkhound/Great Pyrenees mix and Julian’s sister, which means she is the other piece of evidence from the same illicit love affair. We know both parents. Neither has issued a statement.

Fortunately, they produced a very nice dog. Justice is sweet, friendly and delighted to discover that the world contains so many people with perfectly functional petting hands. She would like to meet all of them. She is friendly and affectionate, loves to play and is excellent company. Some dogs require a lengthy explanation. Justice mostly requires someone to love her and occasionally throw something.

She gets along beautifully with other dogs and does well with people, including children ages six and up. She would happily enjoy a dog friend who shares her enthusiasm for a little recreational nonsense. Cats, however, are unlikely to appreciate her insistence that everyone join in. She wants them to play. They want to contact management. A home without cats is the better choice.

Justice is housebroken and well mannered, with the usual young-dog need for exercise, play and continued guidance. She has a lovely temperament, but she has not somehow skipped adolescence. Give her things to do, time with her people and clear expectations, and you have a very pleasant companion.

A securely fenced yard or a home committed to leash walking will work. She is not trustworthy off leash. The Elkhound and Pyrenees sides of the family both feel qualified to make travel arrangements, so a physical boundary is necessary.

Justice is looking for people who want their dog involved in their day. Walks, playtime, visitors, an evening together with plenty of petting. Nothing terribly elaborate. She is offering a great deal of affection in exchange for a place in your family.
