Fox - Great Pyrenees Dog for Adoption in Nashville, Tennessee

Fox is a 4-year-old, 66-pound Great Pyrenees mix with superb manners, a beautiful face and no idea why he is suddenly in the market for a new family. He and his sister Flower lost their home after a change in their family’s circumstances. They were loved, and it shows in how sweet and gentle they are. It also makes their current bewilderment particularly hard to watch.

Fox has lived with a young child and he is fantastic with kids. He is housebroken, crate trained and accustomed to being an indoor family dog. His previous owner worked from home, so he understands that the workday mostly involves lying around while someone talks to a computer. He will announce a visitor at the door, because apparently someone in this household needs to handle security.

He enjoys running and playing, but he also knows how to settle down and be pleasant company. There is a lot to be said for a dog who has already learned how to live in a house and does not need an introductory course in civilization.

Fox is fine around other dogs in public, but at home he would prefer to be your only dog or live with his sister, Flower. Being polite to the general public does not mean they want them all moving into their house. Fox and Flower can be adopted together or separately.

This lovely boy needs people who will adore him, include him in their lives and give him the comfort of belonging again. He already knows how to be a very good family dog. He just needs a family.
