Meet LUNA! Luna is approximately 3 months old and a little over 13 lbs as of late October. She looks like a German Shepherd mix to us but we don't think she'll actually be as big as a standard GSD! We have adopted out several, what we call, "mini German shepherds" from Puerto Rico who usually are no more than 35 lbs which we expect Luna's weight to be full grown.
Luna is truly what you would expect from a puppy. She is happy, sweet, cuddly and smart!
She loves to play! She is great with all dogs she's met. She LOVES to play!
She has also been around cats and also wants to play with them (now, whether the cats want to play with her is another story haha, but she tries!). She takes cues well and won't force the issue if they want to move on.
Luna also loves people, both men and women alike. She’s also in a home with a child (see photo) and is great with him! But we would expect nothing less from a puppy of her age either.
She is up to date on age-appropriate vaccinations and ready to find her forever home!
**PLEASE NOTE: Belle is currently in Puerto Rico and will fly to her forever home once adopted! Please note that we can easily ship in cabin with a person to many airports including JFK, LGA, EWR, BOS, PHL, BWI, BDL, DCA, IAD, TPA, MCO, ORD and many more! The process is incredibly easy to get your dog over from Puerto Rico and we have done it thousands (not an exaggeration) of times! Any questions about whether we can ship to, please ask!***
Please feel free to email us with any questions about her! We are a small all-volunteer rescue and we see every email that comes through, so your inquiry will not get lost! See below for application info.

We strive for our dogs to be adopted into the right home. The best fit for the dog is our priority.
Please make sure you are ready to properly exercise and give a dog all it needs for fulfillment. Your ongoing time and day-to-day commitment are the most important things in caring for a dog.
In addition, we cannot guarantee breed of any dog, exact age or expected adult size of a puppy. Please note that even house-trained dogs will need help transitioning to an adopter's home and schedule. Thank you for understanding.
