KIRA - Miniature Schnauzer and Yorkshire Terrier Dog for Adoption

Meet KIRA!

KIRA is 7-8 lbs and estimated to be between 1-1.5 years old. She's a perfect size to fit in a bag and is very portable. Clearly, she is a mini schnauzer!....although there is something in her ears that makes us think she might have a little bit of Yorkie in there too. Does that make her a Snorkie? It's quite rare that we get schnauzers coming into our rescue so she's an extra special gal. This is a great opportunity to adopt a purebred instead of buying one!

Kira is currently being fostered in a home with several dogs and is great with them all.

She has been great with every human she's met so far and while we have not had the opportunity to observe any interaction with young children, based on her demeanor, we think she would be fine with them.

Kira was owned by someone who had bought her from a breeder. She could no longer take care of her and alluded to possibly selling her off so she could be used for breeding. Lucky for her, we got a hold of her and now she's on to the spoiled life she deserves.

Please note that we plan on getting more and better photos of her (please forgive some of these as the foster isn't the best photographer), so stayed tuned.

She is spayed, vaccinated, fecal negative, heartworm negative and is ready to find her forever home!

Please note that we can easily ship in cabin with a person to many airports including JFK, LGA, EWR, BOS, PHL, BWI, BDL, DCA, IAD, TPA, MCO, ORD and many more! The process is incredibly easy to get your dog over from Puerto Rico and we have done it thousands (not an exaggeration) of times! Any questions about whether we can ship to, please ask!***
