ROSE - Chihuahua and Terrier Dog for Adoption

Meet ROSE! Rose is part of the Golden Girls litter!

She is about 3.5 months old and 7 lbs. She is small and is not expected to be large at all full grown (our best guess is 15 lbs maximum). We think she is a chihuahua/min pin mix simply based upon her looks!

Rose is affectionate, playful, and curious! Compared to her siblings, she is actually known for being the extra brave, playful and cuddliest of the bunch. She is always begging for attention and love and isn't hesitant at al when she first meets a new person. She is trusting and extroverted!

She is great with other dogs and is currently with many dogs in her foster home who vary in size and age. She gets along with all of them! Her foster mom is an independent rescuer who helps a lot of dogs in the neighborhood and so any pup that passes through her home has a great understanding of dog social dynamics and cues.

Rose will also be great with cats as she is just a young puppy who is ready for new experiences and friends.

House training wise, she is currently going outside and on pads, although please be prepared to continue with housetraining in your home as she's just a puppy that is learning. We have marked her as "house trained" since she is doing great at her foster on their routine, but please be prepared to work with her as she adjusts to your schedule.

HER STORY: Her foster mom took her and her siblings in after the pups' mom got pregnant at a neighbor's house.

She is up to date on age-appropriate vaccinations and ready to find her forever home!

**PLEASE NOTE: Rose is currently in Puerto Rico and will fly to her forever home once adopted! Please note that we can easily ship in cabin with a person to many airports including JFK, LGA, EWR, BOS, PHL, BWI, BDL, DCA, IAD, TPA, MCO, ORD and many more! The process is incredibly easy to get your dog over from Puerto Rico and we have done it thousands (not an exaggeration) of times! Any questions about whether we can ship to, please ask!***

Please feel free to email us with any questions about her! We are a small all-volunteer rescue and we see every email that comes through, so your inquiry will not get lost! See below for application info.

We strive for our dogs to be adopted into the right home. The best fit for the dog is our priority.

Please make sure you are ready to properly exercise and give a dog all it needs for fulfillment. Your ongoing time and day-to-day commitment are the most important things in caring for a dog.

In addition, we cannot guarantee breed of any dog, exact age or expected adult size of a puppy. Please note that even house-trained dogs will need help transitioning to an adopter's home and schedule. Thank you for understanding.
