PRESLEY: A HOUND DOG, BUT MAKE IT LITERAL

Presley was born in February 2026, weighs 28 pounds, and is a Black and Tan Coonhound mix. With a face like that, naming him Presley just felt right. After all, he is quite literally a Hound Dog.

But Presley is much more sweetheart than rock star. He's gentle, affectionate, cuddly, and surprisingly laid-back for a young pup. He's happiest hanging out near his people, soaking up attention, and finding a comfortable spot to settle in.

And that face. The black-and-tan coloring, those little copper markings, the long hound snout, and the sweetest expression. He has a way of looking at you like you've been friends forever.

Since Presley was born in February, he still has plenty of puppyhood ahead of him-growing, learning, playing, and probably making a few questionable puppy decisions along the way. But underneath it all is a genuinely sweet, easygoing little guy who just wants to love and be loved.

Presley doesn't need a rhinestone jumpsuit, screaming fans, or a residency in Vegas.

He'd be perfectly happy with a couch, a family to adore, and top billing in somebody's heart.

Long live this little Hound Dog.

All known details about our animals are posted on their profile and updated daily. Other info will be discussed in detail with the foster during the application review process. Due to the high volume of introductions/questions received we ask you to submit an application (that application can be used for any dog with Take Paws Rescue).

The adoption fee for adult dogs covers age appropriate vaccinations, microchip, spay/neuter if not yet performed, heartworm test & appropriate heartworm treatment by the rescue's vet. All dogs in our care are also kept up-to-date on HW/Flea Prevention.
