Meet Lilibet, "Lily" for Short!
Little Lily may have started life as a stray, but this precious girl is ready for her happily-ever-after! Born on April 24, 2026, and currently weighing just 8 pounds, Lily is a pint-sized bundle of scruffy sweetness with a personality as adorable as her little face.
Believed to be a Yorkie mix, possibly with some Miniature Schnauzer, Lily has that irresistible wiry coat, soulful eyes, and perfectly tousled "just woke up this cute" look that makes her impossible not to love. And she's just as wonderful on the inside!
Lily is playful, curious, and full of puppy charm, but she also loves being close to her humans. She gets along well with other dogs and cats, making her a great little companion for a variety of families. She is currently working on her house-training, as any young puppy should, and is making progress as she learns all the important things about being part of a family.
This sweet girl was found wandering as a stray before her finder reached out to rescue for help. Now Lily has the opportunity she deserves: a safe home, a loving family, and a future filled with belly rubs, toys, cozy naps, and people who will never let her wonder where she belongs again.
Lily will be up to date on her age-appropriate vaccinations and spayed by the rescue before adoption.
If you're looking for a tiny, scruffy sidekick with a playful spirit and a whole lot of love to give, Lily might just be your girl.

Due to the high volume of introductions/questions received we ask you to submit an application (that application can be used for any dog with Take Paws Rescue).
The adoption fee for adult dogs covers age appropriate vaccinations, microchip, spay/neuter if not yet performed, heartworm test & appropriate heartworm treatment by the rescue's vet. All dogs in our care are also kept up-to-date on HW/Flea Prevention.
For more on this, or for additional information, including the adoption process and our adoption fee scale for all our adoptable pets (including an explanation about Benefactor Dogs), please see our FAQs page:
