Meet Chevy Levee! Bye-bye, Miss American Pie! This little pup is ready to drive his Chevy to the levee and straight into your heart!

Chevy Levee is a pint-sized 6-pound Yorkipoo born November 18, 2025, and a true little survivor. He was the sole survivor of his litter, and after everything he's overcome, we're determined to find him the right forever home where he can thrive.

Chevy is fun, playful, energetic, and full of personality! He loves playing fetch, going for walks, romping around the yard, and spending time with his people. He's also wonderful with children when playtime is happening on the floor or in the yard.

But this little guy has one very important quirk that his forever family needs to understand. Chevy is extremely possessive of his person when he is sitting in their lap. If someone approaches while he's enjoying lap time, he needs to be put down and given space before anyone comes near his person. Because of this behavior, we are looking for a home without children under 10 and without other animals. Older, dog-savvy children may be considered, provided they can understand and respect his boundaries.

Chevy would love nothing more than to be your one-and-only little shadow-getting all the attention, cuddles, playtime, walks, and fetch sessions he could ever want.

And because every good adventure needs a keepsake, his new favorite fox toy is going with him as a little lovie from his time with us.

Chevy is fully vetted, up-to-date on vaccinations, microchipped, and neutered. He's ready to roll into the next chapter of his life!

He's already proven he's a fighter and a survivor. Now he just needs the right person to understand his quirks, respect his boundaries, and love this pint-sized personality for exactly who he is.

All known details about our animals are posted on their profile and updated daily. Other info will be discussed in detail with the foster during the application review process. Due to the high volume of introductions/questions received we ask you to submit an application (that application can be used for any dog with Take Paws Rescue).

The adoption fee for adult dogs covers age appropriate vaccinations, microchip, spay/neuter if not yet performed, heartworm test & appropriate heartworm treatment by the rescue's vet. All dogs in our care are also kept up-to-date on HW/Flea Prevention.
