Big dog. Even bigger sweetheart. Meet Ryder, a handsome Great Dane/Black Lab mix who has absolutely perfected the gentle giant personality.

Ryder's family loves him, but an upcoming move to an apartment means they are asking for help finding him a home better suited to his size and activity level. They'd love to see him with an active family, a yard to enjoy, and maybe even some kiddos to call his own.

At 65 pounds, Ryder may be a big boy, but he's an incredibly sweet and gentle companion. He's both house trained and crate trained, giving his future family a wonderful head start as he settles into his new home.

This sweet boy isn't losing a family because he did anything wrong. His circumstances are simply changing, and now he needs someone willing to give a very deserving gentle giant his next chapter.

All known details about our animals are posted on their profile and updated daily. Other info will be discussed in detail with the foster during the application review process. Due to the high volume of introductions/questions received we ask you to submit an application (that application can be used for any dog with Take Paws Rescue).

The adoption fee for adult dogs covers age appropriate vaccinations, microchip, spay/neuter if not yet performed, heartworm test & appropriate heartworm treatment by the rescue's vet. All dogs in our care are also kept up-to-date on HW/Flea Prevention.
