Sharday is a 5-year-old Terrier mix who was surrendered into our care in February 2026 due to no fault of her own. Her owner became too sick/old to care for her any longer and sadly had to give her up. But since she has been in a home before we did learn that she is potty trained, great with other dogs and kids. However, we are unsure about any interactions with cats as they did not have any. She is a very toy motivated girl, and despite her age will play fetch with you. She was well taken care of by her owners and knows some basic commands, is spayed, heartworm negative, and up to date on all medical care. She would be a wonderful addition to any household, and if you are a family looking for a new dog then ask about her today!

Sharday's $300 adoption fee includes spay/neuter, up to date vaccines, microchip AND transport fee to a location near you. We currently have transportation to CT, MD, NJ, NY, PA, VA, GA, and TN. Please email transport@hssm.org for more information on transports!
