Andy's coming! Andy is a 1-year-old Terrier mix with a very unique brindle coat that starts to get wavy as it goes down his back. He found himself in our care on January 25th, 2026, after he was sadly dumped on a Long Beach community members property alone in the night. The property owner later brought him to us. He is a very active boy who loves to show off his sprinting skills in the yard and is very treat driven. He will do anything for a treat. He is rather smart and has picked up very quickly on basic commands. He has the potential to learn so much more.
He would do best in a home with older kids due to his active personality. He is good with other dogs. He is a little timid at first but does great with other dogs that can match his energy. Andy is up to date on all vaccines, prevention, heartworm negative, and will be neutered before going home. Andy is ready to join your home!

Andy's $250 adoption fee includes spay/neuter, up to date vaccines, microchip AND transport fee to a location near you. We currently have transportation to CT, MD, NJ, NY, PA, VA, GA, and TN. Please email transport@hssm.org for more information on transports!
