Meet Nellie, your future adventure buddy and favorite couch companion all rolled into one!

At around 2 years old and 50-ish pounds, Nellie is the perfect medium-sized mixed breed girl with an even bigger personality. She’s the ideal mix of hiking partner and couch potato, happy to hit the trails and explore the world with you, but just as content curling up beside you for a lazy evening at home.

Nellie walks well on a leash and loves getting out for adventures. She’s still working on some basic commands, but this spunky girl is eager to learn and would thrive with a family willing to continue helping her grow. If you have older kids, Nellie would absolutely love having playmates to run around, explore, and make memories with one adventure at a time.

This sweet girl is heart worm negative, up to date on all her shots, and on heart worm prevention. She will also be spayed before heading off to her forever home.

Nellie is ready to find her person, someone who will love her playful spirit, goofy charm, and loyal heart.

Nellie's $300 adoption fee includes spay/neuter, up to date vaccines, microchip AND transport fee to a location near you. We currently have transportation to CT, MD, NJ, NY, PA, VA, GA, and TN. Please email transport@hssm.org for more information on transports!
