Oscar
Meet Oscar, a sweet, playful, and adaptable one-year-old who weighs about twenty-five pounds! He’s a floppy, goofy puppy who’s so happy to be alive and makes everyone around him laugh. He gets the zoomies, leaps around the house like a reindeer, rolls on the couch with a squeaky toy until he falls off, and then flops into your lap for a nap.
Oscar settled into his foster home like he’d lived there his whole life, and busy streets, cars, and crowds don’t faze him. He’s ready to love on everyone he meets, and he plays beautifully with other dogs, including his foster’s dog. He picks up on cues from other dogs and backs off when they need space. He’s crate trained, learned come and sit super quickly, and is making fast progress on potty training. He doesn’t pull or bark on walks, though he’s still learning leash manners.
He has moderate energy and needs daily exercise, play, and enrichment beyond potty breaks. He loves tug-of-war, bones, and pupsicles, and he likes lounging in the sun watching the world go by.
Oscar would do best in an active or moderate home, ideally with another dog to play with. A young single or couple who loves bringing their dog everywhere, or a family with a yard and kids, would be a great match.
