Meet Moose!

Moose is a 1.5-year-old, 50-pound F1BB Labradoodle with a BIG personality and an even bigger love for life.

He's dog, kid, and people friendly, plus potty and crate trained! Moose is a high-energy, playful young doodle who would thrive with an active person or family-with or without kiddos-who can give him plenty of exercise, playtime, and adventures.

Due to circumstances outside of his control, Moose has spent much more of his young life kenneled than anyone would have wanted. So when he gets out, he is EXCITED! Give him a little time to get those initial zoomies out, and he settles down nicely.

Moose loves car rides, pup cups, and following his people EVERYWHERE. He's goofy, affectionate, and just wants to be part of whatever you're doing. He does occasionally pee when overly excited, something that may improve with maturity, routine, and his upcoming neuter.

And doodle lovers know the drill! That fluffy coat requires regular brushing and professional grooming to keep him comfortable and mat-free.

Moose is currently intact and will be neutered soon.

He's spent enough time watching life from a kennel. Now it's Moose's turn to live it.

All known details about our animals are posted on their profile and updated daily. Other info will be discussed in detail with the foster during the application review process. Due to the high volume of introductions/questions received we ask you to submit an application (that application can be used for any dog with Take Paws Rescue).

The adoption fee for adult dogs covers age appropriate vaccinations, microchip, spay/neuter if not yet performed, heartworm test & appropriate heartworm treatment by the rescue's vet. All dogs in our care are also kept up-to-date on HW/Flea Prevention.

***Take Paws Rescue, based in New Orleans, saves dogs from high-kill shelters across the South, owner surrenders, and discarded dogs with uncertain futures. All of our animals live in foster homes where they are socialized and well cared for. An application will be required to make sure it's the perfect match!
