Rain got his name in the sweetest way. On a cloudy, rainy day, this handsome blue-coated pup wandered onto a family's porch looking for help. Lucky for him, they answered the door.

Now safe and loved, Rain is ready to find the forever family he deserves.

At 8 months old and 38 pounds, Rain is still very much a puppy. He's friendly with everyone he meets and has never met a stranger. Whether it's adults, kiddos, other dogs, or even cats, Rain greets everyone with a wagging tail and a happy heart.

Rain is already making wonderful progress with his training. He's a smart, attentive boy who enjoys learning and is eager to make his people proud. With consistency, patience, and plenty of positive reinforcement, he's going to grow into an incredible companion.

Like every young dog, Rain is looking for a family ready to embrace all the fun that comes with puppyhood: adventures, training, playtime, and lots of cuddles.

All known details about our animals are posted on their profile and updated daily. Other info will be discussed in detail with the foster during the application review process. Due to the high volume of introductions/questions received we ask you to submit an application (that application can be used for any dog with Take Paws Rescue).

The adoption fee for adult dogs covers age appropriate vaccinations, microchip, spay/neuter if not yet performed, heartworm test & appropriate heartworm treatment by the rescue's vet. All dogs in our care are also kept up-to-date on HW/Flea Prevention.
