Meet Panko!
If you're looking for a pint-sized best friend with a big personality, Panko is your guy! Born at the beginning of May 2026, this adorable 6 lb. Puggle puppy is full of love, wiggles, and endless happiness.

Panko has never met a stranger-he absolutely loves everyone he meets! His little tail is always going a mile a minute, and he's happiest when he's making new friends, soaking up attention, or bouncing around with excitement. His joyful spirit is contagious, and he's guaranteed to bring smiles wherever he goes. Like any young puppy, Panko is ready to learn all about the world with a family committed to helping him grow into the best companion.

He has received his first round of vaccinations and will receive two more rounds to keep him safe from distemper and deadly parvo. He is microchipped, and we have already started him on heartworm/flea prevention to ensure he remains free of them. He will be neutered at the appropriate age of 6 months.

In return for your love and guidance, he'll fill your days with cuddles, laughter, and unconditional love. If you're ready to add a sweet, happy little sidekick to your family, Panko is waiting to meet you!

All known details about our animals are posted on their profile and updated daily. Other info will be discussed in detail with the foster during the application review process. Due to the high volume of introductions/questions received we ask you to submit an application (that application can be used for any dog with Take Paws Rescue).

The adoption fee for adult dogs covers age appropriate vaccinations, microchip, spay/neuter if not yet performed, heartworm test & appropriate heartworm treatment by the rescue's vet. All dogs in our care are also kept up-to-date on HW/Flea Prevention.

***Take Paws Rescue, based in New Orleans, saves dogs from high-kill shelters across the South, owner surrenders, and discarded dogs with uncertain futures. All of our animals live in foster homes where they are socialized and well cared for. An application will be required to make sure it's the perfect match!
