Meet Morgan! Not long ago, Morgan was just another face in an overcrowded, high-kill shelter, quietly waiting and hoping someone would see him before it was too late. Thankfully, that day never came. Morgan is now safe in a loving foster home, and it's already clear that this sweet boy is more than ready for the life he deserves.

At 3 years old and just 41 pounds, Morgan is the perfect "pocket bully"-compact in size but overflowing with love. Shelter staff and volunteers couldn't say enough wonderful things about him. Calm, gentle, and incredibly sweet, Morgan was a favorite among everyone who met him. He rarely barked and was often the shelter's go-to dog for temperament testing, a true testament to his easygoing nature and ability to get along with other dogs.

And then there's that face... it's impossible not to fall in love. His adorable heart-shaped nose is as unique as it is fitting because everything about Morgan is pure heart.

Morgan is neutered, up to date on vaccinations, and currently being treated for heartworms. Don't let that discourage you-heartworm disease is treatable, and he's well on his way to a healthier future.

Now all Morgan needs is the one thing no rescue can provide forever: a family to call his own.

All known details about our animals are posted on their profile and updated daily. Other info will be discussed in detail with the foster during the application review process. Due to the high volume of introductions/questions received we ask you to submit an application (that application can be used for any dog with Take Paws Rescue).

The adoption fee for adult dogs covers age appropriate vaccinations, microchip, spay/neuter if not yet performed, heartworm test & appropriate heartworm treatment by the rescue's vet. All dogs in our care are also kept up-to-date on HW/Flea Prevention.
