Our vet estimates Gus is 3 years old, well past the puppy stage but youthful and happy. Gus is a sweet, easygoing mixed-breed weighing 69 lbs with a friendly personality and a soft, soulful presence. Hes the kind of dog who wins people over quickly and its easy to see why.
Gus is incredibly kind with people and has quickly become a volunteer favorite. He takes treats gently, enjoys attention, and has lovely manners all around. He already knows commands like sit and paw, and will happily offer both paws if you ask a trick thats equal parts impressive and adorable.
He seems to do well around other dogs and carries himself with a relaxed, steady demeanor that makes him an easy companion to be around.
As for his breed, Gus appears to be a shepherd-type mixed breed, but like many of our dogs, his exact mix is a bit of a mystery and we think that just adds to his charm.
