At 18.5 lbs, Tito is the smaller, slightly softer-spoken son of Paco, the lovable patriarch of this tiny but mighty family. Tito came to Canine Collective alongside his dad and brothers, and its impossible not to smile watching the little pack interact together. You can definitely see the family resemblance from the compact build to the expressive face and those classic turned-out little feet that hint at Dachshund or Basset influence.


What exactly is Tito? Your guess is probably as good as ours. The AI breed apps suggested a mix of Chihuahua and hound, and honestly, that feels about right. Tito has the alert little face of a Chihuahua mixed with the sturdy body and quirky stance of a low-riding hound mix. Around here, we just call him irresistibly cute.


Compared to his confident dad Paco, Tito is a touch more shy at first, but hes still a sweet, social little guy who clearly wants to connect with people. Volunteers say he does nicely on leash, allows himself to be picked up easily, and settles in quickly once he realizes treats and attention are involved. Like the rest of the clan, Tito came flying inside after playtime excited for snacks and couch time with his family.


Tito would likely thrive in a home that gives him a little patience as he adjusts and lets his personality blossom. Beneath that slightly cautious first impression is a happy, affectionate little dog with a playful spirit and a permanently adorable expression.
