At his previous rescue, staff couldnt say enough good things about him in fact, one person called him the most perfect dog here. Dexter is dog-friendly and social, happily mingling with his canine crew and making fast friends. During his recent photo session, he impressed everyone even winning over Queenie (which, if you know Queenie, says a lot!). Hes the kind of dog who genuinely enjoys being around others, both human and canine.
Hes also quickly becoming a volunteer favorite. One person summed it up perfectly: my new favorite. Dexter is super friendly, easy to handle, and just a joy to be around. Hes crate trained (eats and sleeps in one), housebroken, easy on leash, and overall a breeze in day-to-day life.
And he doesnt just shine at the rescue he took that charm on the road, too. Dexter loved his car ride to the vet and soaked up all the attention once he got there. The vet staff adored him (one even planned to share his photo with a friend looking for a dog!), which tells you everything you need to know about the impression he makes wherever he goes. Hed likely be a rockstar at adoption events.
And then theres his personality Dexter has the best smoosh-able face and a playful, happy spirit thats impossible not to love. He does these hilarious little hops and jumps when he gets excited like a goofy, joyful bounce that perfectly matches his personality. Hes truly just a young, happy boy soaking up life.
