At around 2 years old and 20 lbs, Paco may be small in size, but he carries himself like the wise little leader of the group. Paco came to Canine Collective alongside his three one-year-old sons Tito, Rico, and Nico and it didnt take long for everyone to notice who keeps the boys in line. Wearing his signature green collar, Paco is the calm, confident dad of the bunch.


What breed is Paco? Honestly your guess may be as good as ours. We fed his photos into some AI breed apps and even the robots got distracted by how cute he is. The top guesses were Chihuahua mixed with some kind of hound, with maybe a little Dachshund or Basset influence thrown in thanks to those adorable turned-out feet and compact little body. Around here, we simply call him a pocket mixed breed.


Paco has a sweet, easygoing personality that really shines once he settles in. While his teenage sons zoom around causing a little chaos, Paco is more mature and relaxed. Volunteers say he walks nicely on leash, is comfortable being picked up, and happily trots along with his tiny pack. When the crew came inside after playtime, Paco confidently led the way excited for treats, hopping up on the couch with his boys, and supervising the fun like any good dad would.


Hes social, affectionate, and seems genuinely happy to be around people. Paco would likely fit nicely into many homes looking for a small companion with personality, charm, and just the right amount of goofy dad energy.
