Meet Scamp
Scamp is a 9-month-old, 15 lb terrier mix who is just starting to figure out his new world. He came to Canine Collective after his owner experienced medical issues and could no longer care for him, and its clear this sudden change has left him a little unsure of what comes next.
At first, Scamp can be a bit shybut give him a little time and youll see whats underneath. This sweet boy wants to connect. He watches closely, takes it all in, and is clearly hoping someone will show him hes safe again. Once he starts to trust, his gentle, affectionate nature begins to shine through.
Scamp looks to be a scruffy terrier mixpossibly with a bit of Yorkie, Cairn, or Schnauzer influencebut whatever his exact mix, hes got that classic terrier charm wrapped up in an adorably tousled package. Hes heading in for a grooming, and we have a feeling theres an even more handsome little guy waiting to emergewell post the after pics soon!
With a patient and understanding home, Scamp is going to blossom into a loyal, loving companion. He doesnt need muchjust someone willing to give him a little time, a little reassurance, and a lot of love.
