Meet Meeka, a sweet Schnauzer girl who is ready to find her forever family!

Meeka was originally adopted through a city shelter, but after a couple of months, her owner made the difficult decision to surrender her when he was entering the military and had no one else available to care for her. Through no fault of her own, Meeka is looking for a new family who can give her the stability, love, and commitment she deserves.

This energetic girl has lots of life to share! Meeka has experience living indoors and is both house-trained and crate-trained, giving her a wonderful head start in her next home. She has been tested with other dogs and children and has done well with both. Her compatibility with cats is currently unknown.

Meeka would love an active family who can keep her busy with walks, playtime, training, and plenty of opportunities to explore. As a high-energy pup, she will thrive with a family ready to help her learn, grow, and channel her enthusiasm into positive activities.

Meeka has also completed her 4Dx testing, with negative results for heartworm, Lyme disease, Ehrlichiosis, and Anaplasmosis as of October 14, 2026.
