Meet Leisl – Your Next Snuggle Buddy!

Leisl has arrived in foster care alongside Gretl, and she’s getting her chance at the happy life she deserves! While she’s still settling in, one thing is certain: this girl LOVES affection! She enjoys exploring her surroundings, sniffing everything in sight, eating treats, and getting as many cuddles and pets as she can convince you to give her.

Leisl is settling beautifully into her crate and sleeps quietly through the night. Her house training is still being assessed, so she’ll need patience and consistency as she adjusts to her new home.

Outdoors, her inner squirrel hunter comes alive! She gets very excited by squirrels, so she’ll need secure walking equipment, continued leash training, and a confident, patient handler. A home with a very sturdy, securely fenced yard would be ideal.

Leisl currently lives well with Gretl but barks at unfamiliar dogs on walks, so introductions to other dogs should be gradual. Her compatibility with cats and children is currently unknown.

Leisl is looking for a loving home that will give her time to decompress, build confidence, and continue learning. In return, she’ll offer plenty of affection and endless snuggle requests!

The Jack Russell Terrier is a lively and intelligent small breed known for its boundless energy and strong hunting instincts. With a distinctive white coat and often sporting tan or black markings, these dogs are full of personality and require regular exercise and mental stimulation to thrive.
