Meet Robbie!
A sweet little guy with a big heart who is ready for a fresh start! This handsome boy has a beautiful black coat with brown and white markings, and his calm temperament makes him a lovely companion to get to know.
Robbie’s story began when he was found abandoned on the side of the road, thin and injured. Thankfully, he was rescued and given the care he needed. Now, he’s getting his chance at a brighter future, and we can’t wait to help him find a safe, loving forever home.
A Little About Robbie:
Robbie is approximately one year old and weighs around 13 lbs. He has a calm temperament and gets along well with other dogs. He is accustomed to being in a crate, which can help provide a familiar, comfortable space as he adjusts to his new surroundings.
Robbie has received his six-in-one vaccination, has been dewormed, and has received flea, tick, and heartworm prevention. He is also neutered, and his teeth are reported to be clean.
Helping Robbie Settle In:
Robbie has had a difficult start, so he will benefit from a patient family who can give him time to adjust and build confidence at his own pace.
He has limited experience walking on a leash and has not yet travelled in a car, so these will be new experiences for him. With gentle encouragement, positive reinforcement, and plenty of patience, his future family can help him discover the world one step at a time.
His compatibility with cats and children is currently unknown, so introductions and interactions should be approached thoughtfully.
Robbie’s Ideal Home:
Robbie is looking for a loving home that will offer him stability, kindness, and the opportunity to feel safe. A family willing to give him time to settle in, establish a routine, and continue learning will help him flourish.
After being abandoned and found injured, Robbie deserves a future filled with comfort, security, and people who will never leave him behind again.
Robbie will be arriving into our care from our rescue partners on November 7, 2026, and we look forward to helping him find the forever home he deserves.
