Meet Callie, a beautiful, sweet-hearted girl who is ready to leave her difficult past behind and find the loving forever family she deserves!

Callie has already experienced something no dog should ever have to endure. She was thrown from a moving vehicle, yet despite everything she has been through, she has remained incredibly sweet and loving. She has no known behavioural issues and continues to show just how special and resilient she is.

Callie is a wonderful family-dog candidate! She has been tested with other dogs and children and has done well with both. She walks beautifully on a leash, is very intelligent, and learns quickly. She genuinely wants to make her people happy and will be a joy for a family looking forward to building a bond with their new best friend.

Callie has a lovely balance of energy, too. She enjoys activity and spending time with her people, but she can settle down and relax when she's with her family. She's affectionate, eager to please, and ready to become someone's loyal companion. She may need a little patience as she settles into a new home and gets comfortable with her house-training routine, as occasional accidents may happen.

Her compatibility with cats is currently unknown, so any introductions would need to be handled carefully.

Callie is expected to arrive into our care from our rescue partners on November 7th, and we cannot wait to help her find the family she has been waiting for!
