TURNER!
Every once in a while, a new dog comes in and you find yourself thinking... okay, somebody is going to scoop this one up FAST.
We really hope that’s the case for Turner.
Turner is about 2–3 years old and 53 pounds, and so far this handsome boy has been nothing but an absolute sweetheart.
He is CALM.
And we mean genuinely calm.
The room can get loud.
Dogs can start barking.
Things can get busy around him...and Turner just sits there quietly, watching everything happen without feeling the need to join the chaos.
He keeps his crate clean, sits beautifully on command, takes treats ever so gently, and doesn’t spend his day barking for attention. Give him a little love and he’s perfectly content just being near you.
Basically, Turner seems to have skipped the memo that shelter dogs are supposed to act wild when someone walks into the room.
And the sweetness of this boy...
There’s something so peaceful about him. He’s affectionate without being overwhelming, polite without even trying, and just has that wonderful “I could see this dog curled up in someone’s living room tonight” kind of personality.

Turner truly seems like he could make such a wonderful addition to a family.
Now we just need that family to SEE HIM.
He’s new. He’s sweet. He’s calm. And we’d really, really love for his shelter stay to be a short one.
