OH MY GOSH! HI!!! Are you my new family? Im Shadow! Are we going home now? Did you bring the car? I can be ready in like 30 seconds!
Tail wagging. Big smile. Happy dance. The whole package.
Shadow was adopted from us about a year and a half ago, but through no fault of his own, he has found himself back at the shelter. And honestly, he doesnt seem interested in dwelling on the past. Shadow wakes up every day believing that TODAY might be the day his next family walks through the door.
He loves people. He does well with kids. He gets along with other animals. Hes neutered, listens well, and still has that fun, trainable puppy energy that makes life so much more entertaining.

Could he use a little TLC? Absolutely. His coat isnt as shiny as it should be right now. But give this boy a comfy bed, good food, some love, and watch him blossom. The sparkle is still there—you can see it every time he flashes that giant grin.

The volunteers adore him because Shadow doesnt know how to be anything other than happy. Even after finding himself back here, he still greets everyone like they are the best thing thats happened all day.
And maybe his best thing is still out there waiting to meet him.
