We really thought Jefferson would have applications lined up by now... but somehow this lovable goofball is still waiting.
And honestly? We cant figure out why.
Jefferson is the definition of a dog who wears his heart on his sleeve. He may not know all the fancy commands yet, but he has absolutely mastered one thing...

If youre looking for a dog who will greet you like youve been gone for years, who believes every hug should last just a little longer, and who wants nothing more than to be by your side, Jefferson is your guy.
Hes still a bit of a wild child, and were pretty sure no one ever took the time to teach him the basics. He would absolutely thrive with someone willing to invest a little training and consistency into him. The best part?
He genuinely wants to please his people.

Hes just waiting for someone to show him the way.
As weve gotten to know Jefferson better, we feel hed do best in a home without cats. He is also dog selective, so any resident dogs will need to come in for a meet and greet to make sure everyone is a good fit.

At around 2-3 years old and 55- 60 pounds, Jefferson has so much life ahead of him.
He came to us through a humane case, and despite everything hes been through, he still chooses love every single day.
The hugs, the goofy grin, the excitement, the unconditional love... theyre all waiting for the person willing to give this sweet boy the second chance he deserves.
